🍂 Fall is here!
That means new students, cooler weather, and the first signs of changing colors—definitely the best time of year for research!
Please join me in welcoming Tal, Mark, and Kyle to the team! We're thrilled to have you on board and excited for all the great work ahead.
Kyle: Kyle received his B.Sc. in Bioengineering from Santa Clara University in 2019. After graduating, he joined Bristol Myers Squibb in the San Francisco Bay Area, where he worked with the Lead Discovery and Optimization team to deploy automation equipment that accelerated the identification of development candidates. Over the past five years, Kyle has been with BridgeBio Oncology Therapeutics, where he developed several novel small molecule therapies that are now in Phase I clinical trials. Outside the lab, Kyle enjoys reading, running, and hiking.
Tal: Tal is a postdoctoral fellow in the lab and a pathologist by training. Her research focuses on cancer immunology and uncovering the mechanisms by which tumors evade treatment, employing innovative staining and analytical techniques. Tal is passionate about integrating clinical insights with research to advance understanding and treatment of cancer.
