2/5/2026 – The Bouchard Lab Celebrates 1 Year !

This year has been truly phenomenal, and after finally landing the “perfect” faculty position, I’m proud of how naturally everything came together.

🔬 I built a fully functional research lab in just a couple of months

✨ I assembled a dream team

💰 I secured several competitive grants

🤝 I established new clinical and research collaborations

🧬 I developed new IRB protocols, accelerating exciting translational work

📣 I was invited to present my work more times than I can count — locally, nationally, and internationally

And so much more.

But the cherry on top:

I am thrilled and deeply honored to share that I am the *Rising Star Research Award* – Basic Science Recipient — a milestone that beautifully marks the end of my first year as faculty at the CU Anschutz Medical Campus, and a vibrant reminder that this community is everything I hoped for.

Here’s to year two starting. 💛
